One installation can control all Web Services DBCs and IIOP DBCs installed in the customer’s network. The unified security management enables user authentication and fine-grained authorization, down to the single operations on CORBA objects, EJBs, and the Web. It also enables a detailed security audit for all SOAP/Web Services, CORBA-, and EJB-based services with one security policy.

Integrates with existing user and group management systems

The policy server’s powerful access control model supports users, groups, and security roles. The support of LDAP directory servers enables the use of your current user and group management systems without the need to duplicate user information. The Administration Console enables unified security management for all SOAP and IIOP based applications in the enterprise.
